Tech Manual 1— Is there no end?
It’s been a mere two weeks since the completion of Sourcebook One, and already another book has been completed. Granted, it’s a far smaller book (20 pages plus covers) but it’s already been shipped to Ka-Blam for printing.
The guys there are really friendly and willing to help-out independent publishers, which is a good thing because it’s not an easy job to do. Three cheers to Barry Gregory, the lead guy there, for breaking the monopoly that is the American comic book world’s “Direct Market” system and giving people with small means but big hearts a fighting chance.
The new book, entitled “Cosmoballistics”/”Valkyrion Technical Manual One” embraces the harder side of science fiction, rooting everything in the Valkyrions’ and B.I.R.D. fighters’ arsenals in the nature physics. Heavy weapons, including missiles, and light weapons (lasers) are in the order of the day.
I decided to present the book as a sort of “technical presentation” and it features four characters as they attend Battalion Hall and prepare for graduation presenting a paper to their superior officers for review. With Stacy Smith’s wonderful artwork, it came-out awesome.
Oh, and there’s some sexy bonuses of Valkyrion squadron leader Mira Ravenous at the end. Heh heh heh heh… SO CHECK IT OUT!
